PostHeaderIcon Do I have Male breast cancer?

Jamie S asked:

Ok. So my cousin (female and adult) just got diagnosed with breast cancer. So I asked if guys can get it too. They said they could. So I checked and there is like this lump in my “breast” I guess. Its right under my nipple. Does it have to be cancer? I’m scared to tell my parents because they’d wanna feel it. Help.
I’m only 12. I’m very scared so please answer. I’m embaresed cuz im a guy Could it be anything else but cancer?

Yes, guys can have breast cancer as well. Did you notice any change in how your breast/nipple feels? Is there any discharge? These are some of the symptoms of breast cancer.

My advice is to schedule a check-up with your doctor. It’s better to be safe than sorry. Early detection of cancer is the best cure. If you want to learn more about breast cancer sign, symptoms and treatments, read:]
