Male Breast Cancer: What are the nipples supposed to feel like if u press into them?

I’m a male and have these breasts for probably 5yrs now. My breasts get puffy, and when attention is put to them (touched) they get hard and wrinkley. I’m pretty overweight and am terrified of this! i was told (not by a docter) that it was part of puberty a few years back. i’m now 18 and worried that it may be serious. I’m worried that if it is breast cancer… is it too late? i’ve been freaking out and panicing latley about this. Can u feel the glands under the nipple? I’ve looked up gynocomastia and some of the pictures look a bit simular when mine are “puffy”. but i cant find any pictures of any that are hard and wrinkled (like ur fingers when out of a bath). My breasts are a bit tender and hurt if i get hit there etc…is that normal? i’m so scared! i goto the doctor tomorrow and will ask but i’m terrified if it’s breast cancer….is it to late after 5ish years?
When they get hard and wrinkley when you touch them it is normal. Nipples have erectile tissue in them just like the penis and will become slightly erect from stimulation. Some people will find stimulating the nipples to be pleasurable. It is also normal for breasts on both men and women to hurt if you get hit there.
Don’t be afraid to ask your doctor about your concerns. He or she is the best person to give you accurate information and help you become aware of what is normal for you.
